What Is CTC Digital Home Economics?

CTC AI Digital Home Economics is a flagship training and empowerment program by California Technological Care (CTC), It is designed to equip individuals—especially women, youth, and marginalized communities—with the digital tools, knowledge, and real-world applications needed to thrive in today’s technology-driven world.

From learning basic computing to launching AI-powered micro- enterprises, this program offers a step-by-step pathway toward digital fluency and economic independence.

Program Structure

The program is delivered in three progressive modules, allowing participants to move at their own pace from learning to application and income generation.


Module 1: (Education & Training) Learn – Digital & AI Foundations


This module introduces participants to the essential skills needed to navigate the digital world:


  Basic computing, internet navigation, and mobile literacy

  Using tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva

  Budgeting and household planning through spreadsheets

  Intro to AI tools: ChatGPT, DALL·E, Canva Magic, Runway ML

  Visual and mobile-first learning materials

  Digital completion certificates and skill badges

  Financial Education


No prior experience required. We meet learners where they are.


Module 2: (Digital Applications) Apply – Technology in Daily and Work Life


Participants learn to apply their digital skills in meaningful, practical ways:


  Communicating online (email, Zoom, messaging apps)

  Accessing online services and government platforms

  Using digital tools for remote learning or small business tasks

  Safe, ethical, and balanced technology use

  Templates for budgeting, resumes, marketing materials

  Peer mentoring from past program graduates

  Spend Tracker


This stage transforms learners from consumers of technology to confident users and analytical people.


Module 3: (Entrepreneurship) Launch – Digital Micro- Business & Remote Work


This module unlocks real income opportunities:


  Business ideas using digital and AI tools (e.g., content creation, social media management, virtual assistance)

  Platforms: Fiverr, OnlineJobs.ph, Canva, Facebook Marketplace

  Training in pricing, customer care, mobile payment, and business planning

  Success stories from local digital entrepreneurs

  Guidance on cooperative formation and micro-loan access


Participants leave with tangible plans and support to earn from what they have learned.
