Pampanga Flood Fundraising Project - fundraising ends by October 31, 2026 or until further notice.

DUNGAWIN AT BUMANGON, PAMPANGA
(Reach Out and Rise Again, Pampanga)

When the floodwaters rise, lives are disrupted. When the waters recede, the struggle continues. Families are left without food, clean drinking water, household necessities, income, and the means to quickly rebuild their lives. For many in remote communities, the hardest days can begin after the immediate relief has stopped.

Dungawin at Bumangon, Pampanga is a humanitarian flood-relief fundraising initiative of California Technological Care (CTC) in partnership with the Friends of Pampanga.

WHY PAMPANGA MATTERS

Pampanga is one of the Philippines' major economic centers. In 2024, the province generated approximately ₱595 billion in economic output, representing about 2.7% of Philippine GDP. Its economy includes agriculture, manufacturing, construction, trade, transportation, logistics, tourism, and services.

Pampanga's economic activity connects Central Luzon with Metro Manila and international markets, particularly through the Clark economic and logistics corridor. Farmers, workers, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, transport operators, and small businesses contribute to economic activity extending well beyond the province.

Severe flooding can disrupt agriculture, businesses, employment, transportation, supply chains, household income, and local commerce. The effects can therefore extend beyond individual families and communities to the broader regional and national economy.

PHASE 2 — IMMEDIATE POST-FLOOD RELIEF

Phase 2 focuses on immediate post-flood humanitarian relief for families and communities affected by severe flooding, particularly in remote areas where regular relief (“ayuda”) is no longer reaching those in need.

Assistance includes food, drinking water, essential household supplies, and other basic necessities to help families through the difficult period after the floodwaters recede.
