California Technological Care and The Friends of Pampanga Launch Humanitarian Fundraising Campaign for Flood‑Affected Communities

Rio Vista, California — September 6, 2026 — California Technological Care (CTC), in partnership with The Friends of Pampanga, today announced a humanitarian fundraising campaign to support families and barangays severely affected by the recent flooding across Pampanga. The calamity has displaced residents, damaged homes, and disrupted essential services throughout the province.

“As a former resident of Pampanga, seeing the devastation in our home province is heartbreaking,” said Demos Punsalan, Executive Director and Co‑Founder of California Technological Care. “CTC has always focused on education and technology access, but in moments like this, our responsibility expands. We are committed to standing with our communities during this crisis.”

The fundraising initiative aims to mobilize donors across the San Francisco Bay Area, CTC’s networks in the Philippines, and the broader Filipino‑American community. Funds raised will be used to provide food packs, hygiene kits, basic supplies, and other forms of immediate relief to affected families.

“We are grateful to The Friends of Pampanga for joining us in this effort,” Punsalan added. “Their support strengthens our ability to reach more communities and deliver assistance where it is urgently needed.”

CTC’s Country Representative, Herrie Raymond Rivera, will oversee the turnover and distribution of all collected funds to verified local partners and community leaders in Pampanga.

Call for Support

CTC invites individuals, organizations, and community groups to contribute to the relief effort. Tax-deductible donations under 501-C (3) of any amount are welcome (IRS 77-0522511), and supporters are encouraged to share the campaign across their networks to expand its reach.
